What is WCBA? | Message from the President
What is West Cobb Business Association?
West Cobb is a distinct community with its own recreational sports, businesses, schools, parks, churches and shopping centers. It is unique in that it spans several different cities including: Acworth, Dallas, Hiram, Kennesaw, Marietta, and Powder Springs.
The West Cobb Business Association (WCBA) was established to fill a need in unincorporated West Cobb. With the community as the center of our focus, we build partnerships with our schools, churches, residents, and businesses throughout our area of influence.
As members of the WCBA, we know that if we invest in our community, our community will invest in our businesses.
WCBA Goals
- To establish an open line of communication between businesses, residents,
schools, churches, and the local government- To work toward improving the business conditions in West Cobb
- To meet and network with other business owners & managers in the community
- To give back to our neighborhood by participating in and initiating community events and fund-raisers

A Message from the President...
I am humbled to serve as 2013 President of the West Cobb Business Association and blessed to be a part of a great leadership team that will continue to work tirelessly to bring YOUR membership value beyond compare!
This year it is our goal to get all of our members more engaged by attending meetings/events, becoming a sponsor, joining a committee, bringing a guest to a meeting/event, joining/posting on one of our social media sites, or just being an ambassador by telling people about us. The leadership team is committed to our slogan “Where Business and Relationships Converge”. Look for our WCBA leadership name badges and let us know what we can do to get you more involved.
In addition to our Monthly Luncheons; First Tuesday’s Networking at Nite; Weekly Open Networking, Closed Networking, and B2B Strategic Alliance groups; Annual West Cobb Community Expo; Membership Appreciation Breakfast; Booths at Taste of West Cobb, Cobb Chamber EXPO, Summer J.A.M., and October Haunt; we will hold new pilot programs including, but not limited to, WCBA Non-Profit Summit, West Cobb Leads Exchange, Speed Networking, and The WCBA Family Picnic.
With nearly 200 members and growing, WCBA takes great pride in remaining a close family; an experience fostered by all we offer and the time our members spend together. Come join us and feel what it’s like to be a part of our family!
